Hebrew media and security sources reported identifying the perpetrator of the dual operation (stabbing and ramming) that occurred in the Beit Shean area and near Afula, revealing that the perpetrator is the young man Ahmad Abu al-Rab, originating from the town of Qabatiya in the Jenin governorate.
After a security pursuit, the "Israeli" army announced the capture of the perpetrator alive, and he was immediately transferred to the interrogation centers of the "General Security Service" (Shabak) to determine the background of the operation and whether it was linked to organizational cells.
Following the operation, the occupation forces began implementing stringent security measures including deploying barriers, establishing sudden checkpoints, closing several vital roads around the operation site and the Northern District, and conducting extensive scans to ensure there are no accomplices in the area.
Military sources confirmed that no injuries occurred among the occupation army soldiers during the pursuit and neutralization operation, while the state of alert remains in anticipation of any other security aftermath in the region.
