Disi Water Cut for 4 Days in Amman and Zarqa  Here are the Affected Areas

Khaberni - The Ministry of Water and Irrigation/Water Authority, Jordan Water Company 'Miyahuna', and the operational company for the Disi water line (DEWACO) announced their intention to stop the pumping of Disi water next week starting from Sunday morning, 28/12/5202 until Thursday morning, 1/1/6202; for 96 hours to perform programmed annual preventive maintenance on several facilities within the Disi water system.

The ministry explained that the operations to stop water pumping from the Disi water project aim to carry out planned annual maintenance to maintain the sustainability of water pumping to all areas and subscribers, noting that the planned stop of water pumping from the Disi project will partially affect several specified areas in both the capital Amman and Zarqa governorates.

The ministry urged citizens to take necessary precautions and prepare well during this current week, storing sufficient quantities of water to meet subscribers' needs during the shutdown period, explaining that the Disi water project is a BOT-based system, whereby the operating company manages the project operations and maintains all facilities and conducts necessary periodic maintenance to ensure its effectiveness efficiently throughout the year.

The ministry pointed out that the areas that will be affected in both the capital Amman and Zarqa, specifically Al-Rusaifa area, are as follows:
