Khaberni - A Palestinian infant was injured as a result of an attack launched by settlers on a home in the occupied West Bank, according to official Palestinian media on Thursday, while the Israeli occupation police announced the detention of five settlers suspected of involvement in the assault.
The official Palestinian news agency (WAFA) reported that "the infant Mayar Shalaldeh (8 months) suffered facial and head injuries" due to "an attack by colonizers on the homes of citizens in the town of Sa'ir northeast of Hebron" in the West Bank.
It was explained that following the attack, which occurred late on Wednesday evening, the child was taken to the hospital where "her injuries were described as moderate, and significant damage was inflicted on the property and homes of the citizens".
In turn, the police announced the detention of five suspects on the basis of "their alleged involvement in serious violence incidents in the village of Sa'ir".
