Khaberni - The young Brazilian singer Kevin Costa died after being electrocuted while working as an electrician in the city of Goiania, aged 25.
According to the local "Metropolis" newspaper report, the tragic incident occurred while Costa was installing an electrical outlet in an automotive parts store. He was working at a height of approximately six meters, secured with a safety belt.
The report stated, quoting the local fire department data: "Rescuing him required the use of a forklift," indicating the difficulty of the extraction process due to the elevated location of the incident.
A farewell ceremony for the young singer was held at the "Valley of Cerrado" cemetery in Goiania on December 24, Christmas Eve.
Costa's professional life combined his artistic passion as a singer of gospel music (locally known as "Música Gospel") and his day-to-day work as an electrician, a situation that reflects the reality of many young artists in Brazil who work in other professions to support themselves while pursuing their artistic dreams. Investigations are still ongoing to determine the exact circumstances of the accident.
