Khaberni - Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho has stirred a wide wave of controversy in the media and sports circles in Portugal, after he clashed with a journalist covering news of Benfica club, during which "The Special One" decided to punish him by refusing to answer one of his questions.
Mourinho is known as one of the most divisive figures in the world of football, as his presence rarely passes without reactions, whether on the green field or outside it.
This time, the Portuguese coach found himself in an unusual confrontation after his team, Benfica, won 1-0 against Famalicao on December 22 this year.
Despite the victory, Mourinho seemed annoyed by what he considered misrepresented information about him that was spread in the media, and during the press conference, he directly addressed the concerned journalist saying, "I thought you would talk about the false story you wrote about me".
Mourinho added with a definitive tone, "Since I am, let's say the main character in that story and I know it is not true, I am punishing you and will not answer your question maybe next time," before he ended his speech with a slight smile.
The incident quickly spread widely and once again brought to the forefront the sometimes tense relationship between Mourinho and the media, reaffirming again that "The Special One" is still able to create controversy both inside and outside the stadiums.
