Khaberni - Jordan is affected during the last days of the year 2025 by a weather condition resulting from the region being affected by two successive weather depressions.
The influence of the first weather depression, which centers over Cyprus starting from Saturday, is accompanied by a decrease in temperature and an increase in wind speed, including strong gusts of western winds in some areas, in addition to the chance of rain, God willing.
Analyses indicate that the rain may be heavy at times during Saturday evening and night and Sunday morning, and it might be accompanied by thunder and hail especially during Saturday night and Sunday morning. The effect of this depression will gradually weaken from Sunday evening as it moves northeast towards Syria and northern Iraq.
By Monday, with the continued influx of cold air from central Europe, a new depression forms at dawn on Monday centered over Cyprus, where rain renewal is expected periodically, God willing, later extending to the southwestern regions, and may be heavy at times. This comes along with a new drop in temperatures and increased activity of western winds with occasional strong gusts, and as the depression quickly moves towards Syria and the north during the night, the precipitations weaken.
Forecasts indicate that on Tuesday, the Kingdom remains under the influence of the remnants of cold and moist air, expecting light and scattered rain showers in the western parts of the Kingdom.
