Khaberni - Moroccan press reports revealed that French star Kylian Mbappé, a striker for Real Madrid, will head to Morocco to attend one of the 2025 African Nations Cup matches.
The Moroccan site "Le360 Sport" reported that Mbappé will be present at the "Moulay Abdellah" stadium in Rabat to support the Moroccan national team in their upcoming match against Mali on Friday, as part of the second round of Group A.
The source clarified that Mbappé received a personal invitation from his former teammate at Paris Saint-Germain and close friend, Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi, to attend the "Atlas Lions" second group stage match.
Mbappé is expected to be accompanied on this visit by his teammate in the French national team, Paris Saint-Germain star Ousmane Dembélé, who also has close relationships with the Moroccan national team players, particularly Hakimi.
It is worth mentioning that the tournament officially started last Sunday in Morocco, and the "Atlas Lions" performed strongly in their opening match, securing a clean 2-0 victory against Comoros.
Hakimi was absent from that match due to injury, and his appearance in tomorrow's game against Mali is considered unlikely.
