Khaberni - Razi Hammadin, the President of the Audit Bureau, emphasized on Thursday that the Bureau is striving to develop its reports, and to provide information that is easily accessible and readable.
Hammadin indicated on Al-Mamlaka channel that the Audit Bureau's report for 2024 will focus on the relative importance of issues, and showcases what has been accomplished during the year by the audit teams. The report also presents observations according to the best international standards for supreme audit institutions, focusing on substantial issues.
He explained that the Audit Bureau conducts three types of audits: financial audit, which includes auditing financial accounts and computerized financial systems, compliance audit, which focuses on the extent to which institutions comply with regulating legislations, and performance audit, which compares the performance of institutions against their budget size.
Hammadin added that the Bureau is approaching a new phase of specialized reports that focus on sectors of relative importance to citizens, such as education, health, and transport.
