Khaberni - Syrian artist Mayada El Hennawy is preparing to meet her Moroccan audience again, after a break of more than six years, through an anticipated concert to be held on February 14 (February) upcoming, coinciding with the Valentine's Day celebrations, at the "Carré d’or" theater in Casablanca.
It is expected that this concert will be a significant artistic event for lovers of authentic music, as El Hennawy returns to an audience that has long yearned for her voice, in an evening expected to be infused with romantic emotions and the fragrance of classic Arabic song.
The Syrian artist is scheduled to perform the evening accompanied by an orchestra led by Maestro Salah El Sharkawy, presenting a selection of her most famous works that have shaped her career over decades, and contributed to consolidating her position as one of the prominent icons of Arabic singing.
This concert comes after her last appearance in Morocco in 2019, when she participated in the Mawazine Festival and performed a successful concert at the Mohamed V National Theater, amidst a notable audience presence, making her current return a subject of wide interest to her Moroccan audience.
Mayada El Hennawy is considered one of the most prominent voices whose star rose since the 1970s, as she collaborated with great Arab music icons, including Mohamed Abdel Wahab, Baligh Hamdi, and Riyad Al Sunbati, and presented timeless works that are still present in the Arab artistic memory.

Mayada El Hennawy captured attention at the Jerash Festival for Culture and Arts, on July 27 (July) 2025 through a concert at the Southern Theater in Jerash, Jordan, as part of the thirty-ninth session of the festival, and Mayada also participated this year in a festival brimming with a constellation of Arab stars such as Assala Nasri and Ahlam, in a diverse artistic program that includes more than 235 events from 37 countries.
