Fox Sports network reported, citing Japanese media, that Miura is preparing to appear in the Japanese third division league, a new step that reflects his determination to continue on the green field despite his advanced age.

Miura, who started his professional career in 1986 with the Brazilian club Santos, is considered one of the leading football icons in Japan and Asia, not just for what he has delivered on the field, but for his exceptionally long journey that spanned decades. His anticipated move to Fukushima United, a club in the J3 league, gives him the opportunity to continue competing until 2026, reaffirming once again that experience and wisdom can still make a difference.
