Developments in the Epstein Scandals A Million New Documents and Lawyers Working Around the Clock

Khaberni  - The US Department of Justice said on Wednesday that it has found more than one million additional documents that could be linked to Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted sex offender.

This development results in a delay in fully releasing the documents for weeks, while officials intervene in crafting the details to protect the victims.

The administration of President Donald Trump began releasing files related to the criminal investigations into Epstein, the late American financier who was a friend of Trump in the 1990s, in compliance with a law passed by Congress last month.

Despite Trump's objections, the Republicans and Democrats in Congress recognized the law, and they requested that all documents be released by December 19 of this year, allowing for partial redaction to protect the victims.

The releases so far have included extensive revisions, which has angered some Republicans.

The release did not defuse the scandal that threatens the party before the midterm elections in 2026.

In a message posted on social media on Wednesday, the Department of Justice stated that more than one million additional documents that could be linked to Epstein were uncovered by the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) and the US Attorney's Office in Manhattan, without specifying when or how the documents were found.

Revision and Protection of Victims

The Department stated, "We have lawyers working around the clock to review the documents and conduct the legally required redaction to protect the victims."

It added, "We are releasing the documents as soon as possible," and "Given the tremendous amount of materials, this process may take a few more weeks."

Earlier, victims of Jeffrey Epstein condemned the partial release by the US Department of Justice of documents related to the case of this New York financier known for his connections with politicians and celebrities, including Donald Trump.

In a statement published on the X platform, about 15 victims complained on Saturday that "only part" of the documents were released, pointing to an "unnatural and excessive" revision of the elements released last Friday without "any explanation".

The statement also criticized the Department of Justice for "leaving the identities of many victims clear, causing immediate and real harm."

It is noteworthy that Jeffrey Epstein was involved in managing a prostitution network, using his houses and island that he owned to commit sexual crimes against underage girls and recruit others to expand his network.

Two Presidents and a Prince

The case came to public attention in 2005 when Epstein was tried for prostituting a minor, and documents were revealed that implicated him along with American and international political and artistic figures in a prostitution and minor exploitation network.

Despite his suicide following his arrest for the second time in 2019, the case remained active after him, creating a stir in American society.

Numerous sources indicate that Epstein was an agent for the Israeli Mossad and that he kept documents proving the involvement of many prominent figures in sexual scandals, making them susceptible to blackmail at all times.

Among the figures mentioned in Epstein's documents, President Donald Trump is confirmed to have visited the house that served as a brothel, though without clear accusations linking him to the crime.

New documents released by the US government on Tuesday revealed an email suggesting that Trump traveled on Jeffrey Epstein's plane 8 times, more than was previously known, prompting the Department of Justice to issue a statement defending the 79-year-old Republican president.

The flight logs also included names like Bill Clinton, attorney Alan Dershowitz, and Prince Andrew, Duke of York.
