Revealing Details of Airstrikes on Drug Dens in Southern Syria

Khaberni - Syrian media and local sources revealed today, Wednesday, details of the airstrikes that targeted locations associated with drug smuggling networks in the countryside of the Sweida province in the south of the country.
According to reports monitored by Khaberni, the number of raids has reached 7 so far, focusing on warehouses and farms used for storing and manufacturing drugs, in areas of Al-Sha'ab, Um Shama, Dhibin, Um Al-Rumman, Al-Ghariya, and Kherbet Awad, as well as targeting a farm linked to the known smuggler Emad Al-Ulum near Khazma village.

Concurrently with the raids, flares were launched across the Jordanian-Syrian border to enhance night monitoring operations and prevent smuggling attempts or escapes.

For its part, the Jordanian Armed Forces - the Arab Army, announced that they had conducted precise operations targeting dens used by arms and drug traders for launching smuggling operations towards Jordanian territory, confirming the destruction of the sites and neutralizing a number of those involved, based on accurate intelligence information.

The armed forces confirmed in their statement that they are continuing to counter any threats, and will strike with an iron fist anyone trying to compromise the security of the nation.
