Khaberni - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Affairs welcomed the agreement signed in the Omani capital Muscat concerning the exchange of prisoners and detainees in Yemen.
The ministry spokesperson, Ambassador Fouad Al-Majali, expressed the Kingdom's welcome of this agreement, appreciating the efforts made by Oman and the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as the efforts of the Office of the Special Envoy of the United Nations Secretary-General to Yemen, the International Committee of the Red Cross, and all parties that contributed to reaching the agreement.
Al-Majali reiterated the Kingdom's support for all efforts aimed at achieving peace, security, and stability in Yemen, and in meeting the aspirations of the brotherly Yemeni people.
