Khaberni - In line with the vision and mission of Arab Amman University in developing the educational system, and emphasizing the importance of enhancing student proficiency and preparing them for the job market, the Accounting Department at the College of Business at Arab Amman University organized a training workshop for accounting students titled: "Your Roadmap to Working in Banks: Accounting Skills and Professional Certifications", presented by the banking expert Professor Abdul Aziz Al-Dubaik, coordinated by Dr. Muthanna Abu Allan, head of the Accounting Department, Dr. Abdullah Al-Asouli, a faculty member at the college, with wide participation from students interested in working in the banking sector.
Professor Al-Dubaik gave a comprehensive presentation that covered the most important accounting skills required in the banking job market, highlighting key professional certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Management Accountant (CMA), which enhance employment opportunities and contribute to building a successful and sustainable professional career in the banking sector. Additionally, he provided practical tips for developing practical experiences and keeping up with the latest developments in the financial sector.
The workshop witnessed noticeable and positive interaction from the participants, who showed clear interest in the topics discussed through meaningful discussions and questions, reflecting the importance of these meetings in enhancing the integration between the academic side and practical application. This lecture is part of the efforts of the College of Business at Arab Amman University aimed at enhancing professional awareness among its students, and equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary to keep up with the changing demands of the job market.
