Khaberni – Tkiyet Um Ali announced the signing of a cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Education to support and implement the school nutrition program, aimed at providing a daily healthy meal to less fortunate public school students, contributing to improving their health and enhancing their learning ability.
This cooperation comes within the framework of launching the first phase of the program, which includes schools in the provinces of Balqa, Jerash, and Karak, which do not regularly receive food aid. The provided meal consists of 100% natural date bars, free from added sugar and preservatives, and rich in fiber and natural energy, which supports students' focus during the school day.
Currently, about 4,000 students benefit from the program, receiving the meal directly at schools, in addition to approximately 20,000 students who are supported through monthly food parcels, as part of an integrative approach that expands the impact circle and enhances food security for children.
The date bars provided are manufactured by beneficiaries of the Abu Abdullah Home programs within economic empowerment projects, using natural local ingredients, reflecting an integrated model that links school nutrition with sustainable empowerment.
Both parties emphasized the importance of this cooperation in providing a healthy educational environment for students and creating a long-term impact, with this phase to be followed by other phases including additional provinces, in line with national efforts to enhance food security and support the educational process.
