AlIssawi inaugurates and inspects projects of royal initiatives in Zarqa

Khaberni  - Youssef Al-Issawi, the head of the Royal Hashemite Court and the head of the committee overseeing the implementation of His Majesty's initiatives, inaugurated on Wednesday, in Zarqa governorate, a public park in the Zarqa camp, which was ordered by His Majesty King Abdullah II to be built after his meeting with the camp elders, among a series of projects in all camps through royal initiatives.

Al-Issawi toured the facilities of the park, accompanied by Zarqa Governor Firas Abu Qaoud and the Director of the Palestinian Affairs Department Rafeeq Kharfan, and listened to an explanation from the supervisors about the services and recreational facilities provided to the camp's residents, which include safe rubber and sandy playground areas, external fences, seating benches, shaded areas, a guard room, as well as a football field with artificial turf.

The park provides a breath of fresh air for the residents of the Zarqa camp and the surrounding areas.

Al-Issawi also inspected the project of rehabilitating the Arab Bank Park, which was rehabilitated as part of the royal initiatives in partnership with the Arab Bank in response to the repeated demands of the local community during the royal visits to the governorate. This park, created more than 25 years ago with funding from the Arab Bank, represents a model of partnership between the royal initiatives and the private sector in the context of its corporate social responsibility.

During a tour of the project's facilities, Al-Issawi reviewed the progress of work in the park, which is nearing completion, in the presence of the governor of Zarqa Firas Abu Qaoud, the general manager of the Arab Bank, Randa Sadik, the CEO of Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation Valentina Qassisieh, the head of the Zarqa municipality committee Khaled Khushman, the corporate communication manager at the Arab Bank Tariq Al-Haj Hassan, operations manager at Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation Ihab Zeitawi, and the communication manager at the foundation Farah Abu Aisha.

Al-Issawi listened to a briefing on the services provided by the park and the library, and their role in enhancing the community aspect for all age groups.

The Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation serves as the cultural and social responsibility arm of the Arab Bank.

The project includes a building for the "Abdul Hameed Shoman" branch in Zarqa, consisting of two floors, containing multipurpose halls and activity rooms for adolescents and children, offering a variety of cultural services accessible to people with disabilities and serving all age groups.

The park includes two children's play units (rubber and sand) and administrative and service buildings for the Zarqa municipality, which will manage and operate the park.

Accompanied by the governor Abu Qaoud and the director of the Military Housing and Public Works Foundation Colonel Mohammad Qudaisat, Al-Issawi inspected the project of establishing the Military Culture School in the Rusaifa district to review the progress of work in this vital educational establishment, which was initiated following the royal directives.

Al-Issawi toured the facilities of the project, which is 80% complete and consists of two modern buildings for classrooms, each comprising three floors (basement, ground, and first), and the school will include 30 classrooms, in addition to computer labs, a science lab, administrative offices, storage rooms, and dormitories.

Al-Issawi concluded the tour by inspecting the "nucleus of the sports city" in Rusaifa district, which was established following royal directives to serve the local community and specifically the youth sector.

Accompanied by the Minister of Youth Raed Adwan and Zarqa governor Firas Abu Qaoud, Al-Issawi toured the facilities of the project.

In press statements, Al-Issawi confirmed that the royal initiatives are continuing to implement the high royal directives in the Zarqa governorate and across all governorates of the Kingdom, to ensure that urgent priorities for citizens in various sectors are met, embodying His Majesty's keenness to improve the quality of services provided to them.

He noted that His Majesty places the demands of citizens at the heart of his concerns during his communicative meetings and field visits, directing the implementation of priority projects in alignment with government plans, thus complementing and supporting the national programs.

He mentioned that the opening and inspection of developmental projects in Zarqa, in cooperation with partners in the public and private sectors, maximizes the positive impact on the residents of the governorate, achieving a qualitative leap that is felt by the citizens in the level of services and social welfare.
