Artist Tarek El Amir died on Wednesday morning, after a battle with illness that lasted over the recent weeks, which he spent in the hospital under medical care.
His illness:
El Amir suffered from a health crisis due to heart artery failure, despite previously being unaware of his heart conditions.
His career:
Tarek El Amir was an Egyptian actor and author, born in Cairo in 1965, and started his artistic career in the nineties. He played supporting roles in both cinema and television.
One of his most notable roles was the character of Officer "Hany", the love advisor in the movie "El-Limby" starring Mohamed Saad, which was released in 2003.
He also participated in the movie "Asal Eswed" with Ahmed Helmy as "Abdel Monsef", a man married but separated, which was shown in 2010, and the role of Massad in the movie "Okal", in addition to other works.
He authored several films including "Katkout", "Matb Synthetic", and "Love Like This".
