This index is considered one of the most important global references for decision-making and regulatory planning for countries in the field of advanced technologies.
While the Kingdom excelled in the index due to its advancements in AI infrastructure. This infrastructure supports leading national platforms and solutions, such as "Humain" company, which enables computing capabilities, AI model development, AI governance, and the public sector's adoption of smart technologies.
The Kingdom is distinguished by its ability to formulate national policies, accelerate the development and deployment of AI systems, and its high flexibility in adopting modern technological solutions, making it rank seventh globally in governance and ninth globally in public sector adoption. This balanced progress in regulatory and practical aspects reflects governmental AI progress.
AI Readiness Index for Governments is one of the specialized global indicators that measure governments' capacity to adopt AI and employ it in public policies and government services. The index evaluates 195 countries worldwide, based on criteria related to governance, infrastructure, and institutional readiness.
