Khaberni - Olympique Lyon officially declared the acquisition of the young Brazilian forward Endrick, coming from Real Madrid, to boost the team for the rest of the current season's competitions.
Spanish newspaper Sport stated that Endrick's departure was due to him being completely out of coach Xabi Alonso's plans, who hasn't given him a real chance to participate since he took charge, except for a single start in the Copa del Rey and a few other marginal minutes.
Sport added that the agreement stipulates the player's transfer to Lyon on a loan basis only until the end of the current season, with no option to buy, as the French club aims to strengthen its ranks in Ligue 1 and the Europa League, while Real Madrid hopes that the player regains his brilliance in France.
The newspaper pointed out that the Brazilian talent, which costed the royal treasury up to 60 million euros including incentives, has become a "promise that did not burst" in Santiago Bernabeu, which made the loan option the only available solution at the moment.
