Khaberni - Taybeh District Municipality, west of Irbid, announced the extension of official working hours in its financial departments until 5 PM until the end of the current year.
The municipality said in a statement on Tuesday that the extension of working hours aims to facilitate the citizens and enable them to benefit from the government's decisions on discounts and exemptions on penalties for taxes on buildings and lands "roofs".
The municipality indicated that citizens can also contact the municipality by phone for inquiries about the amounts due and to obtain an electronic payment number, as part of measures to alleviate the burden on citizens and enhance the quality of services.
