Khaberni - The Egyptian actress Ghada Abdel Razek has reconsidered her decision to withdraw from the Ramadan race for the year 2026, and has decided to resume filming her new series "Alia" a few days after announcing her sudden apology for the work.
According to what Ghada Abdel Razek stated to the website "ET in Arabic," she reached a final agreement with the production company to resume filming the series starting from December 27th of this year, officially returning the work to the Ramadan competition after a controversy about its fate.
Ghada had announced weeks ago her withdrawal from the series after two months of filming, which raised numerous questions about the behind-the-scenes of the work, especially after the actor Mohamed Riyad also apologized for not participating, which led some to speculate about the series exiting the Ramadan season, before things changed again.
In the series "Alia," Ghada Abdel Razek portrays an ambitious fashion designer who has loved fashion since her childhood, and succeeds in establishing a brand that carries her name, becoming a destination for celebrities and artists. However, her life is turned upside down after the death of her husband, starting a journey filled with crises and personal and professional challenges.
The series "Alia" belongs to the category of short works consisting of 15 episodes, and it is written by Ayman Salama, directed by Ahmed Hassan, and stars alongside Ghada Abdel Razek are Sabri Fawaz, Ahmed Safwat, Basant Shawky, Nabil Issa, Aya Salim, Amr Abed, and others.
This work confirms Ghada Abdel Razek's continued involvement in presenting 15-episode series for the second consecutive year, after her participation in the previous Ramadan with the series "Shabab Emraa," which was based on the novel by Amin Youssef Ghorab.
