Egypt's national team achieved a hard-fought victory over Zimbabwe with a score of 2-1 this Monday evening in the first round of Group B at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
Prince Dube scored for Zimbabwe in the 20th minute, but Omar Marmoush equalized in the 63rd minute before Mohamed Salah scored the winning goal in the 90th minute.
Egypt's national team secured three precious points under the leadership of their coach Hossam Hassan, tying with South Africa before their match next Friday in the second round.
