Syrian Defense Order issued to stop targeting SDF fire sources after neutralizing them

The Media and Communication Department at the Ministry of Defense issued a clarifying statement confirming that the Army General Staff has issued an order to cease targeting the fire sources of "SDF" forces in the city of Aleppo.

The ministry explained that this decision came after the success of the field units in neutralizing several fire sources that were targeting residential areas and deployment points.

The statement also emphasized that the military leadership worked on narrowing the conflict zone and confining it to a limited range away from the homes of residents and their gatherings, to ensure the safety of civilians and their properties after hours of military tension.

The Syrian Ministry of Health announced that it is monitoring the field situation in the city of Aleppo with great concern and attention amid the ongoing military escalation.

The ministry revealed in an official statement that casualties occurred due to shelling targeting a residential area near Al-Razi Hospital, recording the martyrdom of a young man and his mother in addition to injuring 8 citizens, including a boy and a girl, as well as injuring two members of the civil defense.

The ministry confirmed that all the injured were transferred to hospitals to receive the necessary treatment, and that the medical teams continue to closely monitor their conditions.

The Syrian Health stressed that this shelling, which affected the vicinity of medical facilities, is considered an unacceptable act and a crime condemned by law, morality, and state sovereignty.

In the context of enhancing emergency response, the ministry announced the mobilization of medical staff and securing all supplies and medications in all hospitals in Aleppo province, which are now in complete readiness.

The ministry also urged citizens to exercise utmost caution, stay away from windows and balconies, stay in safe places, and to call the emergency number (110) in case of any injuries.

The ministry concluded its statement by calling everyone not to spread rumors and to rely only on official sources for accurate information.
