Foster leads South Africa to a win over Angola

Lyle Foster, the English Burnley striker, led his national team South Africa to a crucial 2-1 victory over Angola on Monday at the big stadium in Marrakech in the second group of the African Nations Cup finals held in Morocco.

South Africa opened the scoring with Apolis scoring with a powerful right-footed shot from inside the box following a pass from Foster inside the area, placing it to the right of goalkeeper Hugo Marquez after 21 minutes from the start, but Angola equalized through Show after 14 minutes.

Foster scored South Africa's second goal with a powerful shot from outside the box, ensuring the 1996 edition winners their first 3 points in the tournament.
