Khaberni - Media reports have revealed a shocking surprise regarding the future of player Ruben Neves in the upcoming winter transfer period.
Spanish media have stated that the Portugal national team player refused an offer from Saudi Al Hilal, to renew his contract with the team that ends in June (June) 2026.
It was noted that Ruben Neves emerged as one of the strongly nominated names to transfer during the upcoming winter transfer period, amid growing interest from Real Madrid to sign a midfielder capable of controlling the rhythm of the game.
It added, "This comes after Real's struggle this season in dominating games, and its lack of a midfielder who can organize the pace and lead the game from its depth, which observers believe Neves is capable of offering with his experience and technical quality".
Neves is seen as an option that gives Real Madrid a different dimension in midfield, especially given his ability to connect between lines, precision in passing, and long-range shots, elements not clearly available in the current lineup, and despite his contract with Al Hilal, his name is now present in the transfer market as January approaches.
In the same context, Manchester United appears as another party interested in bringing Neves back to the Premier League, part of broader moves by the club to strengthen its squad with players who have previous Premier League experience," while United is also considering Bournemouth winger Antoine Semenyo and Conor Gallagher, as part of the search for players ready for quick adaptation to the demands of the competition.
Data suggests that Ruben Neves might be open to the idea of returning to the Premier League, even if it means accepting a lower salary than what he currently earns in the Saudi League, especially given his desire to embrace a new challenge at the highest level.
