Musk sets a condition for X AI to lead the artificial intelligence race

It seems that billionaire Elon Musk is optimistic about the future of his emerging artificial intelligence company "X AI".

At a company-wide meeting recently held at its headquarters in San Francisco, Musk told employees that if "X AI" can withstand the next two or three years, it will outperform its competitors, according to informed sources.

Musk, the CEO of X AI, added that the company's ability to rapidly expand its capacity and data capabilities will be a key element in the race to achieve superintelligence - which surpasses human intelligence - to become the strongest company in the field of artificial intelligence, according to a report by "Business Insider", which "Arabiya Business" viewed.

Musk pointed out that "X AI" might be able to achieve general artificial intelligence, which matches or surpasses human intelligence, in the next few years, possibly by 2026, according to sources.

Last November, Musk said that the likelihood of "X AI" achieving general artificial intelligence was 10% using the "Groq 5" model, which he announced the company plans to launch at the beginning of next year.

Informed sources mentioned that Musk told employees during the meeting that "X AI" will have a competitive edge over other artificial intelligence companies as it will be able to access funding ranging between 20 and 30 billion dollars annually, and it will benefit from its proximity to his other companies.

The electric car company Tesla integrated the "Groq" system into its vehicles earlier this year.

Overall, employees reported that Musk seemed satisfied with the company's progress. One insider described the meeting as "enthusiastic".

In addition, Musk broached theories about building data centers in space and his plans for colonizing Mars during the meeting, according to sources.

Musk said that Tesla's human-like Optimus robot might eventually manage these space centers.

This is not the first time Musk and other technology leaders, including Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, and Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google, have talked about the possibility of building data centers in space.

In response to a request for comment by "Business Insider", X AI replied with an automated message: "Mainstream media lies".
