Khaberni - Prime Minister Jafar Hassan confirmed on Sunday that the government will begin to implement the axes of the cleanliness strategy and reduce random waste disposal in coordination with all relevant agencies.
His Royal Highness Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, the Crown Prince, chaired the meeting of the preparatory committee concerned with the executive program of the cleanliness strategy and reducing random waste disposal for the years 2026-2027.
Hassan explained that this program is not a temporary campaign, but a continuous work program based on implementing cleaning campaigns, awareness programs, and strict procedures to enforce the law on violators.
The Prime Minister referred to the meeting held by the committee responsible for implementing this program last week, during which the roles were defined, and what is required from each entity was clearly stated, noting that the campaign will focus on schools, universities, mosques, in addition to enhancing surveillance tools for violators.
The Minister of Environment, Ayman Sulaiman, provided an explanation of the executive program, which included the goals of the program, its intended impact, its main outputs according to a timeline, and the roles of the entities responsible for implementation.
