Deputy AlQubai The Minister of Energy wants us to be a legalizer for a suspicious agreement

Khaberni – Deputy Dr. Qasim Al-Quba'i accused the Minister of Energy of trying to pass an agreement previously signed by the government, making the deputies sign it «blank», as if the deputies «legal analyzer».

Al-Quba'i said, in statements following the parliamentary energy committee meeting today, Sunday: «I thought that today's session was designated to discuss a law project for investment in the Abu Khashibah area, but it turned out to us that the government had already signed an agreement beyond its powers, and came to us to sign it, as if we have become a legal analyzer».

He continued: «This agreement is legally null; because it is signed with parties that are not present, and the government does not have the right to put obligations on the state with parties that do not actually exist and have not been established yet».

He added: «The true shepherd and party concerned with the issue is non-existent, and we do not know its financial solvency or its technical competence, nor its nationality or the country in which this entity is located, and there are no addresses for it in Jordan, therefore, litigation with it does not occur within the kingdom».

He added: «We are required to sign blankly, and what happened in the session was madness».
