Khaberni - Published in the official gazette on Sunday, an amended regulation for the special tax system for the year 2025 for several goods and products related to tobacco heating and electronic cigarettes, to come into effect starting from tomorrow, Monday.
The amendment modified clause four of article (3) of the original system by canceling the text of subclause (2) of paragraph (h) and replacing it with a new tax on tobacco heating devices (10000 fils).
The special tax on electronic cigarettes is now set at (1500 fils) per one milliliter for electronic cigarettes with liquid, and (10000 fils) per device for electronic cigarettes without liquid, and the special tax on the liquids used in electronic cigarettes (500 fils) per one milliliter.
Special Tax Reduction
The new amendment shows a tax reduction on tobacco heating devices from (20000 fils) to (10000 fils).
It also reduced the tax on electronic cigarettes with liquid from (5000 fils per one milliliter) to (1500 fils per one milliliter), and the reduction of electronic cigarettes without liquid from (15000 fils) to (10000 fils).
It also reduced the liquids used in electronic cigarettes from (1000 fils) to (500 fils).
