Amman Vision for Investment and Development, the investment arm of the Greater Amman Municipality, announced their offering of the New Amman Slaughterhouse project for investment, following the Design, Build, Operate, and Transfer (DBOT) model, in partnership with the private sector.
This vital project, which is one of the priority infrastructure projects for the Greater Amman Municipality and a key component in the long-term urban and economic development of the city, aims to modernize the service and health system in the capital by enhancing food safety, supporting national food security, and improving public health and environmental standards, while meeting the increasing demand in the capital.
Amman Vision invites local and international companies specialized and interested, with documented expertise in this field, to submit expressions of interest (EOI) for the purpose of obtaining the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) documents, and all other relevant information about the project, which will be established on a designated piece of land in the Madouna area East of Amman, to include the construction and operation of an integrated livestock slaughterhouse along with a comprehensive meat market according to the highest international standards.
