Journalist Ghazi Al-Murayat revealed that elements of the Anti-Narcotics Administration arrested a woman, accused of placing a narcotic substance for her husband with the intent to harm him, in coordination with two people, who were also arrested.
A security source said that there were reports about a man possessing narcotic substances in his house, and action was taken to the house, and upon searching it, a small amount of narcotics was found, only enough for consumption, and the man, against whom the reports were made, was arrested and taken for investigation, according to Al-Rai Newspaper.
He added, that investigations revealed that the man, against whom the reports were made, is a user of narcotics, but the narcotics found in his house were not his. Further investigations revealed that his wife had placed the narcotics there, intending to harm him, in coordination with two individuals she knew from before, following disputes with her husband. All three were arrested and referred to the public prosecutor at the State Security Court, who decided to detain them pending the case.
