Marwan Jumaa, vice president of the Jordan Football Association, disclosed the near introduction of the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) technology in Jordanian stadiums.
Jumaa told "Khaberni" that VAR is coming soon to Jordanian stadiums, and the Jordan Football Association will announce the timing and mechanism of implementing the technology locally.
Jumaa's statement came after the conclusion of the Arab Cup hosted by Doha, where the Jordanian team (Al-Nashama) finished second behind the Moroccan team, after a historic participation that demonstrated Al-Nashama's superiority in both regional and continental events.
Professional clubs have long been demanding the implementation of the technology in the Jordanian stadiums, following complaints about refereeing errors they considered influential in various championship matches.
