The Israeli Occupation’s Security Council, on Sunday, approved the establishment of 19 new settlements in the occupied West Bank, which increases the number of settlements approved over the past three years to 69, according to an official statement.
An announcement issued by the office of extremist Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich stated, "The mini-ministerial council approved the proposal by Smotrich and extremist Minister of Defense Yoav Gallant, for establishing and organizing 19 new settlements" in the occupied West Bank.
According to the statement, "These settlement sites are of high strategic importance, topped by the re-establishment of the settlements of Ganim and Kadim," which had previously been removed in the northern West Bank.
