Khaberni - Within the framework of the College of Engineering at Amman Arab University striving to enhance the scientific and practical competencies of its students, under the directions of Professor Dr. Mohammad Wadiyan, President of Amman Arab University, and the follow-up of Dr. Anwar Al-Assaf, Dean of the College of Engineering, the college organized, in cooperation with the Dean of Student Affairs, a specialized training course titled: "Engineering Design Using Computer Software– Software PROKON ", presented by Engineer Mona Al-Momani, a faculty member in the Civil Engineering Department.
The workshop covered advanced topics in engineering design and analysis of concrete structures of various types using software PROKON, aiming to determine optimal reinforcement values for structural elements according to approved engineering standards. The workshop provided a rich interactive environment that enhanced scientific discussion, giving students the opportunity to ask questions and exchange ideas, which contributed to deepening their understanding of civil engineering concepts, enhancing the connection between theoretical aspects and practical application, and learning about the latest tools and techniques used in the engineering job market.
The organization of this course reaffirms the College of Engineering at Amman Arab University's commitment to elevating the academic and professional level of its students, preparing them in a manner that meets the demands of the job market, by organizing training programs and specialized workshops both within and outside the college, contributing to the development of a qualified engineer capable of competing and excelling.
