Khaberni - The Kuwait Hotel Owners Union confirmed that hotels wishing to display Christmas trees will not be targeted, noting that clear instructions have been issued in this regard.
The union clarified, in an official document which Al-Qabas obtained a copy of, that this assurance was based on what the representative of the Hotel Owners Union presented during the meeting of the Supreme Committee for Tourism, regarding the recording of violations on some hotels because of displaying Christmas trees.
It added that instructions were explicitly issued not to target or fine hotels that choose to display Christmas trees.
