The Broadcasting and Television Authority in South Africa said on Sunday that nine people were killed and ten injured in a shooting in Bickersdal in west Johannesburg.
The police in Bickersdal have not yet responded to a Reuters request for comment.
The Broadcasting and Television Authority revised the death toll downward in a post on X website after initially stating that ten people were killed.
