The Confederation of African Football has announced a major artistic event in Morocco, preceding the opening of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations finals, featuring prominent names from the global and African music scene, led by the global star of Moroccan origin French Montana, along with Nigerian star Davido.
'CAF' stated in a statement today, Friday, according to Hespress, that the event will be held on Saturday, December 20th, at the OLM Suisse Fan Zone in Rabat, as part of an ambitious entertainment program prepared in partnership between the Confederation of African Football, TotalEnergies, and the Kingdom of Morocco.
The event will also feature other artists, including Moroccan Duaa Lahyawi, representing a new generation of emerging voices in the national artistic scene, alongside artist Says’z known for his contemporary style, and Lartiste who is famous for blending different cultures and musical styles in his works.
French Montana's attendance has a special symbolic significance as he returns to his homeland to participate in a major continental event, after marking a successful global career in the United States and beyond, while Davido represents the widespread international reach of "Afrobeats" music.
