Actress Ghada Abdel Razek announced her apology for not participating in the new series "Alia," which is scheduled to be shown during the Ramadan race of 2026.
It was planned that Ghada Abdel Razek would collaborate in this work with the writer Ayman Salama and director Ahmed Hassan, and the events of the series revolve in a thrilling social framework, but the actress confirmed in televised statements her decision not to participate.
The mystery still surrounds Ghada Abdel Razek's participation in the upcoming Ramadan season, as it has not yet been decided whether she will completely miss it, return at the last moment through a new work, or simply make a cameo appearance in one of the shows.
Last Ramadan season, Ghada Abdel Razek participated in the series "Youth of a Woman," which was written by Mohamed Suleiman Abdelmalek and directed by Ahmed Hassan. The cast included Mahmoud Hafez, Youssef Omar, Jouri Baker, Mohamed Mahmoud, and Dalia Shawky, in addition to Sayed Ragab and Abeer Sabry.
The 15-episode series is based on the novel "Youth of a Woman" by writer Amin Youssef Ghurab, bearing the same name, and was previously presented in a famous film starring the artist Tahiya Karioka in the 1950s, directed by Salah Abu Seif. It deals with the impact of complex human relationships on individuals' lives.
