Khaberni - In an unprecedented gathering since the end of the Corona crisis, the Jordanian American Association revived the holiday celebrations and its Jordanian identity in a grand ceremony, attended by hundreds from the community and supporters, within a distinctive civilizational Jordanian “Taeleela”.
This evening was titled “Christmas and Unity,” bringing together members of the Jordanian American community in a celebratory night that reflected the depth of the Jordanian identity, and reinforced the values of national unity, and shared cultural and communal belonging.
This took place during a ceremony held in Livonia, Michigan, embodying the strength and cohesion of the Jordanian community in the United States, and reflecting the pride in roots and national belonging.
Over the years, the Jordanian American Association has formed a fundamental pillar for the Jordanian community in Michigan, guided by its core principles of unity, preserving Jordanian and Arab heritage, and serving the community.
The evening highlighted the newly formed board consisting of the following members:

The association has expanded its leadership list to meet the aspirations and ambitions of the American Jordanian community, opening new doors towards extended social work, with formations reflecting the rich mosaic diversity and the social, cultural, and scientific fabric of Jordan.
Several board members and community leaders delivered moving speeches, including the Association's Vice President Laith Fakhoury, and board members Mr. Shaden Dabbaneh, Mr. Basem Al-Khatib, Dr. Jeries Haddad, Dr. Shatha Ghraibeh, Engineer Sami Al-Khalidi, Mr. Masoud Al-Awamleh, Dr. Tareq Najeeb, and Mrs. Najwa Dahdah Khuzouz, officially introduced Mr. Aahed Masarweh, the founding member and current president of the Jordanian American Association.
The evening concluded with a festive dinner accompanied by traditional Jordanian sweets and Arabic coffee, to the sounds of live oud music, in an atmosphere celebrating the authentic Jordanian heritage.
It is noted that the Jordanian American Association (JACA) offers free membership to those wishing to join its programs and future initiatives.
The association continues this journey with a new elite of activists, until JACA has reached its current form, to remain the association that represents the interest of the community in all its spectrums.
The association's current and sublime aim is now to continue the path started by community activists, earnestly working to realize the greater dream of establishing a building that befits the Jordanian presence, named after the Jordanian American Association and the noble community, a center that will include, in addition to activity halls and cultural evenings, a museum and exhibit reflecting the history, heritage, and civilization of Jordan and the first centennial of the long-lived Kingdom led by the Hashemites, headed by His Majesty King Abdullah II the Grand, who reflects the bright face of the East and is a landmark in peace and balance.
