Forensic medicine in Karak explained the cause of death of the young man Maher Al-Ratimat, who was 30 years old, who was found dead next to one of the rock cliffs in the Al-Lajjun area east of Karak city, after he had been missing for ten days.
The autopsy results of the young man's body, which was conducted by a committee of forensic doctors at the Southern Region Forensic Medicine Center in Karak upon the assignment from the public prosecutor, revealed that the death was due to heart and respiratory failure resulting from extreme cold exposure.
The family of the young man had announced his disappearance in the Zuhum area of Karak since December 10th and had searched for him and informed the security authorities, as well as appealing to everyone to provide any information that might help in finding him.
The efforts of the civil defense teams, police, and citizens over the past few days led to finding him, although he had already passed away.
