Professor Mohammad Wadiyan, President of Amman Arab University, received in his office a delegation from the Arab Orphan Committee Association led by Engineer Khaled Kanaan, the head of the management body, within the framework of enhancing partnership and developing cooperation prospects between the two sides in the fields of education and community, which contributes to enabling students scientifically and professionally, enhancing their opportunities to join university education, and sustaining academic and training support alongside discussing mechanisms to support students academically and in training, and exchanging expertise in line with the two parties' mission in serving the community and empowering youth. This was attended by: Ms. Nadia Al-Qudimat, the university Vice-President for Financial and Administrative Affairs, Dr. Basma Abu Jaber, Director of the Office of Practical Education and Community Service, Mr. Wadah Mismar, Director of Media and Public Relations Department at the university, Mr. Abdullah Mohammad, the Executive Director, and Mr. Luay Jaber, Student Affairs Liaison Officer at the association.
In the meeting, Professor Mohammad Wadiyan praised the efforts of the Arab Orphan Committee Association in empowering students and supporting youth academically and professionally, affirming the university's commitment to enhancing this partnership that serves the students and provides them with exceptional educational and training opportunities, contributing to the achievement of shared community responsibility goals between the two parties, and enhancing the university's role in building a stimulating educational environment based on innovation and academic excellence, in line with the university's vision in serving the community and empowering its members, reflecting the university's commitment to community responsibility initiatives by supporting needy groups, providing educational and training opportunities, and actively contributing to the sustainable development of the local community, pointing to the efforts of Amman Arab University in enhancing the concept of community responsibility through its unique Community Responsibility Office among Jordanian universities.
For his part, Engineer Khaled Kanaan appreciated the efforts of Amman Arab University and its leading role in supporting students and enabling them academically and professionally, expressing his pride in the partnership with Amman Arab University, and affirming the association's aspiration to expand cooperation areas to achieve its goals in supporting and empowering orphan students and youth in various disciplines, especially in technical and applied fields, and working on launching joint programs and initiatives that contribute to developing students' skills and enhancing their readiness for the labor market, reflecting the spirit of community responsibility and sustainable cooperation between the two parties.
