The selling price for one gram of 21-carat gold -which is the most demanded and traded among Jordanians- has risen to 87.80 Jordanian Dinars for selling purposes, while the buying price has reached 84.20 dinars.
According to the official daily pricing issued by the General Union of Owners of Jewelry Trade and Craftsmanship Shops, the selling price for one gram of 24-carat gold has reached 100.300 dinars, against a buying price of 97.200 dinars.
For 18-carat, the selling price for one gram has reached 77.800 dinars, while the buying price has been set at 71.900 dinars.
For 14-carat, the selling price is 59.300 dinars, and the buying price is 53.200 dinars.
In relation to the prices of gold Liras, which are directly affected by changes in the gram price, the market calculations have shown that the selling price of a 7-gram Rashadi Lira has approximately reached 614.60 dinars, while the buying price has reached about 589.40 dinars.
As for the 8-gram English Lira, it has recorded an approximate selling price of 702.40 dinars, whereas the approximate buying price has reached 673.60 dinars, confirming the slight increase that prevails in the gold markets in Amman at the beginning of the week’s trading.
