Khaberni - The statements by Vurdi Aydin, the manager of the late Turkish singer Gulo regarding her last message to him have sparked widespread controversy on social media.
Aydin mentioned that Gulo called him days before her death saying: "If something happens to me, know that it's from my son or daughter". This came in the context of the ongoing investigations surrounding the death of the singer who died after falling from her apartment window on the sixth floor in Cinarjik, Yalova on September 26 last year.
Aydin continued in press statements that the investigations revealed that the incident was a premeditated murder inside the family, adding that many witnesses confirmed that his daughter Tojiyan had shown aggressive intentions towards her mother previously. He pointed out that the motives for the crime might include financial reasons or the daughter's desire to marry, noting that the value of Gulo’s artistic and financial assets amounted to hundreds of millions of Turkish Liras.
On the other hand, Aydin clarified that Gulo had taken strict security measures in her home before her death, including the installation of surveillance cameras and secure doors, indicating her sense of danger. He also expressed doubts about the role of her brother Tugberk in the case, noting his change of stance after a silence of 90 days.
It is worth mentioning that the investigations are still ongoing under the supervision of the Yalova Prosecutor's Office, where the daughter Tojian has been arrested while her friend Sultan Nur Ulus has been placed under house arrest..
