Valverde Raises Alonsos Concerns and Camavinga Lifts Spirits

Khaberni - Missed Uruguayan Fede Valverde from training Real Madrid on Friday in the city of Valdebebas, casting doubt on his presence before the team's clash on Saturday evening against Sevilla, led by Argentinian Matias Almeyda, at Santiago Bernabeu as part of the 17th round of the Spanish Football League.

And Valverde did not participate in the group training session, after missing also the King's Cup match against Talavera, due to suffering from the flu and foot pain from a strong hit.

And the technical staff led by Xabi Alonso is waiting for his recovery, while the team has reinstated the French players Eduardo Camavinga and Ferland Mendy, along with Austrian David Alaba, who participated today in training normally, suggesting they might be included in the Sevilla match squad.

It also confirmed Raul Asensio's readiness after recovering from the flu that had kept him out of the cup tie, along with the return of Thibaut Courtois and Antonio Rudiger, who were given a rest last Wednesday.

Real Madrid enters its last Liga match in 2025 with four significant returns against six confirmed absences: Trent Alexander-Arnold, Dani Carvajal, and Eder Militao due to injuries; Andreik and Alvaro Carreras due to suspensions; plus Brahim Diaz, who has joined the Moroccan national team camp before the African Cup of Nations.

The White team faces the match under great pressure, amidst increasing questions about the future of Alonso, following a series of mixed results in recent weeks, where they've secured only five wins in the last 11 matches.
