Disturbed American Woman Stuffs Store Bread with Razor Blades

In a shocking incident, authorities in Mississippi arrested a mentally disturbed woman after she stuffed razor blades inside loaves of bread displayed for sale in a famous supermarket chain.

According to the "New York Post", the Biloxi Police Department announced the arrest of Camille Benson (33 years old) from Texas, charging her with attempting to cause public disorder, following reports from customers who found sharp blades hidden inside the bread they purchased from the stores.

The Initial Report Revealed the Clue

According to the police, the threads of the case began on December 5, when a customer reported finding a razor blade inside a loaf of bread he purchased from the "Walmart Supercenter" in Biloxi.

Three days later, specifically on December 8, another customer made a similar report after buying a loaf of bread from the "Walmart Neighborhood Market" without suspecting any tampering.

Concern escalated after store management received a third report last Sunday, prompting employees to inspect the shelves, where they discovered several other loaves had been tampered with in the same manner.

Surveillance Cameras Decided the Matter

The police received the official report on Monday, and immediately began investigations.

The following day, the police released images captured by surveillance cameras inside the stores, through which they identified Benson as the main suspect in the incident, as reported by the local "WTVA" channel.

Urgent Warning to Customers

Biloxi police urged anyone who purchased bread from the mentioned stores to inspect the loaves carefully, and to report any potential tampering immediately in order to preserve public safety.

For its part, Walmart issued a statement affirming that the safety and health of its customers are a top priority, noting that it removed all potentially affected products from the concerned stores and subjected them to thorough inspections.

The company added: "We appreciate the quick response of law enforcement agencies, and will continue full cooperation with them until the conclusion of the investigations".

Walmart also called on customers who purchased any tampered products to dispose of them immediately, and to head to the nearest store for a full refund of the purchase price.

Meanwhile, the police confirmed that they do not believe other stores are targeted at this time, while Camille Benson's bail was set at $100,000, pending the completion of legal proceedings.
