Istanbul Airport ranked first among the busiest airports in Europe with an average of 1444 flights daily, during the period between December 8 and 14.
This was stated in the "European Aviation Report" for the period from December 8 to 14, published by the European Organization for Air Navigation Safety last Friday.
The report indicated that Istanbul Airport topped the list of Europe's busiest airports with an average of 1444 flights daily during the mentioned period.
Following in second place was "London Heathrow" with an average of 1308 daily flights, followed by "Paris Charles de Gaulle" with 1285 flights, then Amsterdam Airport with 1260 flights.
Meanwhile, "Sabiha Gokcen" International Airport in Istanbul ranked tenth in Europe with an average of 751 daily flights.
