Jamie Carragher, Liverpool legend, renews his attack on Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, the team's winger, following the provocative statements Salah made that criticized his Dutch coach Arne Slot's decision.
Slot kept Salah as a substitute in the Leeds match as part of the Premier League.
In statements via the podcast "Stick to Football," Carragher said: "I continued talking about the subject because I was receiving repeated questions. It was the most prominent issue in the city for seven to ten days, and I will not retract anything I said."
About describing Salah's actions as a "disgrace," he added: "It was indeed a disgrace. Others might have a different opinion, but it must be backed by evidence."
Carragher also addressed technical points, saying: "Some offensive players like Cody Gakpo, Hugo Ekitike, and Alexander Isak are excluded, while defenders like Ibrahima Konate play in every game despite the criticism directed at them, so the topic is not up for debate."
It is worth mentioning that Salah’s previous statements caused widespread controversy about his stance on substitutions and coach's choices, prompting Carragher to respond sharply through "Sky Sports," confirming the timing of his statements was planned to embarrass the club.
