Google announced the launch of a new digital assistant on the Google Labs platform, designed to facilitate users' use of the platform and to enhance the benefits of its features.
The new digital assistant "CC" provides a daily summary to the user based on their data stored in Workspace applications such as Gmail, "Drive," and the "Calendar" app.
According to Google, the new assistant integrates with Gemini, consolidating basic tasks and important updates into a clear summary that helps the user know what needs to be accomplished during the day, and sends this summary to their Gmail every morning.
One of the prominent features of the new digital assistant is its customizability; users can program the assistant to provide specific information or future reminders about an event.
Google also indicated that the role of this assistant is not limited to creating summaries of notes and reminders only; it can also help the user prepare drafts for emails within a specific daily schedule, displaying these drafts as reminders on certain days.
This assistant is currently launched in a test mode for users over 18 years old, located in the United States and Canada, and participating in Google Labs services.
