The Egyptian artist Mohamed Ramadan revealed the private moments in his life that he insists on not sharing with his audience on social media.
Mohamed Ramadan said during a radio interview: "It's impossible for me to post my picture from in front of the Kaaba on social media because that's my relationship with God, and the idea of taking out a mobile phone at the Kaaba doesn't cross my mind. I'm in the presence of the Almighty, who is more important than Him?... It's a special moment and I want to be alone with the Great One."
Previously, the Egyptian artist commented on the ruling issued to imprison him for two years due to the song "Number One Ya Ansaas", saying: "Note.. thankfully, the ruling is with suspended execution.. Long live Egypt".
It is worth mentioning that the court had recently upheld the ruling to imprison the artist for two years in a case related to the publication of the song "Number One Ya Ansaas" on YouTube without obtaining the necessary permits, after rejecting the appeal submitted by his defense.
The court had previously sentenced Ramadan to imprisonment based on a report accusing the artist of publishing a song considered, according to the report, to be against societal values and inciting violence, which is still widely controversial in artistic and media circles.
