The national football team received wide Arab acclaim, following its runner-up finish at the Arab Cup 2025, after a remarkable performance that was described by Arab sports commentators and journalists as heroic and historic.

Sport commentator Khalil Al-Balushi stated, "All respect and appreciation for Jordan's Al-Nashama, a team that delivered a great tournament from start to finish, deservedly reached the final, was a strong contender, and provided a memorable strong match against Morocco."

Al-Balushi added, "Hard luck, Al-Nashama, what you presented was pride and an achievement to build on for the future."

On his part, Algerian commentator Hafid Derradji said: "Better luck next time to the wonderful Jordanian team that played a grand heroic match, and competed in a historic, magnificent tournament with the brilliance of its players and their respected coach Jamal Al-Salami."

Emirati media personality Ali Saeed Al-Kaabi stated: "A big hard luck to Jordan, losing the title doesn't negate the fact that you've gained stardom and everyone's admiration. This generation of Al-Nashama will surely win a title someday, and we look forward to your creativity in the World Cup."

In turn, Qatari sports journalist Mohammed Al-Kaabi said: "In 2023.. Jordan as runner-up in the Asian Cup, and in 2025.. Jordan qualified for the World Cup, and now.. runner-up in the Arab Cup 2025... hard luck to Al-Nashama and congratulations on this generation and this team."

In the same context, Syrian media personality Mustafa Al-Agha stated: "No two people can disagree that the Jordanian team was fabulous, strong, organized, and combative despite the absence of some of its star players and limited resources but with the vision of their country's federation and the determination of their men and their Moroccan coach, they left their mark in the hearts of all Arabs in their cup, Arab Cup, hard luck to Jordan and they first heard this from the gracious Moroccan fans."
